Acceptable Use Policy

Version 1.0. Effective 29 August 2026. Part of the Terms of Use. Operated by Innovations App Lab LLC.

This policy sets out what you may not do with FleetHook. It is part of, and uses the defined terms of, our Terms of Use. It applies to every person who signs in — owners, dispatchers, billing staff and drivers alike.

You may not

  • Use FleetHook to break the law, or to further any unlawful tow, seizure, storage or charge.
  • Record tows that did not happen, falsify records, photographs, signatures, mileage or documentation, or backdate or alter records to misrepresent what occurred.
  • Store personal information you have no lawful right to hold, or use another person's data for a purpose they would not expect from a towing record.
  • Attempt to access, or actually access, another company's data, another user's account, or any part of the system you are not authorised to use.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service; defeat or interfere with its security, tenant separation, rate limits or audit logging; or introduce malware.
  • Copy, resell, sublicense, rent, or provide FleetHook to a third party as a service, or reverse-engineer or attempt to extract its source, except where the law expressly permits.
  • Use automated means to scrape, overload, or place unreasonable load on the service, or to create accounts in bulk.
  • Upload content that is defamatory, harassing, or infringes someone else's intellectual-property or privacy rights.
  • Impersonate another person or company, or misrepresent your authority to act for a company.
  • Use FleetHook's messaging, notification, or invoicing features to send unlawful, deceptive or unsolicited bulk communications, or in any way that would violate the CAN-SPAM Act or the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

Drivers, safety and location

FleetHook must not be operated by a driver while the vehicle is in motion in any way that violates distracted-driving laws. Location and route features are provided for dispatch and billing; they must not be used to surveil a person outside the scope of their employment or beyond what the law and the employer's own policies allow.

Enforcement

If we believe an account is being used in breach of this policy, we may investigate, remove offending content, throttle or suspend features, or suspend or terminate the account. Where we can, we will tell you what happened and why, and give you a chance to put it right — but for conduct that threatens the security of the service or the data of others, or where the law requires, we may act first and explain after. Serious violations may be reported to the appropriate authorities. Suspension or termination for a breach of this policy does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.

Reporting abuse

If you believe someone is using FleetHook in breach of this policy — for example, holding your data without a right to, or misusing a tow record — write to support@fleethook.com. If the data belongs to a towing company's account, we may need to refer you to that company as its controller.
